This existing house is a chalet type bungalow with a single storey, side extension. The owner required additional accommodation over this extension but the roof had insufficient space to achieve this. As a result the design involved a new roof that had a steeper pitch and two dormer windows to increase the room size even further.
The finished project resulted in an improved appearance that was sympathetic to the street scene as well as including additional accommodation.
